Sunrise service at Crossroads Baptist

Virginia Presbyterian will have Easter service
Virginia Presbyterian Church will hold its Easter service in the prayer garden beside the church on Easter at 930 a.m. Folks can sit in their cars or bring chairs.
Via to lead Sunrise Service at Glade Creek
A Community Sunrise Service will be held at 7 a.m. April 4 in Glade Creek Cemetery, Blue Ridge. Evangelist Rick Via will be the speaker. Masks will be required. All are invited.
Easter Sunrise Service at Galatia Presbyterian
Galatia Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 76 Gala Loop Road, Eagle Rock, will have a Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 4. Thom Provenzolla will be the guest speaker at the Sunrise Service and the 11 a.m. Worship Service. There will not be a breakfast after the Sunrise Service due to COVID-19. Masks are required at both services.
Easter musical program at Colonial Baptist
Colonial Baptist Church in Blue Ridge invites everyone to Easter at Colonial on April 4 at 10 a.m. A musical program, entitled “The Gospel in Song,” will feature more than a dozen musical groups and individuals in song and narration. Adults, youth and children will minister.
The service will be broadcast on Facebook Live at 10 a.m. A nursery and Tots’ Church are provided.

Springwood Baptist Church invites the public to the following Easter events.
- April 2 – Good Friday service at 7 p.m. Drive-in church
- April 4 – Easter Sunday Sunrise Service at 7:30 a.m.; continental breakfast at 8 a.m.; drive-in worship service at 9 a.m.

Donations needed for Mt. Bethel Cemetery upkeep
Donations are being accepted for the upkeep of the Mt. Bethel Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The cemetery is located on Rt. 43 (Narrow Passage Road) near Eagle Rock. Mail donations to Etta Alexander P.O. Box 5, Eagle Rock, 24085.
Minister leaving Botetourt church
The Rev. Loren Tate Mitchell, who has been working with the innovative Wild Goose mission church at Daleville, a Presbyterian-related congregation, will move in June with her family to Rockbridge County. She has become the first woman minister for the historic New Providence Presbyterian Church.
In a pastoral note to the Daleville group, Mitchell said a committee is seeking her successor. Her role has been that of worship leader, for lay persons largely direct the outreach of the congregation which has been developed over the past decade.
