The Botetourt Chamber of Commerce each year awards three scholarships to graduating seniors: one each from James River and Lord Botetourt High Schools and at the Botetourt Technical Education Center. The recipients will receive a $1,000 scholarship each, paid directly to the institution they are attending at the beginning of the school year.

To be considered the applicant must be graduating in the spring of 2021, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5, participated in school and community activities, possess two letters of recommendation and plan on attending an accredited institution.

The scholarship application can be found on both the Lord Botetourt and James River Guidance Department websites and with the Chamber website. Applications must be returned with all supplemental information by May 1 to the Botetourt Chamber at P.O. Box 413, Daleville, 24083.

Lawrence Companies, also a Vision Partner sponsor of this area of focus, Rocky Forge Wind, and Roanoke Cement, A Titan America Business, are sponsors for the scholarships.
