Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office Community Outreach officers are enjoying fun in the sun.
The officers partnered with the Brent Hershey Agency of State Farm to provide ice cream at various locations while engaging the youth of the Botetourt County community.
The Sheriff’s Office continues its commitment to engaging with citizens through non-enforcement activities to continue building and maintaining trust and relationships with those they serve. Brent Hershey and State Farm Insurance provided the ice cream and invested in the community with the Sheriff’s Office as a community business partner to promote community outreach and engagement.
Deputy Goad and Deputy Morris organized the event with Brent Hershey. Last week, they visited Read Mountain Swim Club and the Botetourt Golf & Swim Club. The group has also spent time at Limestone Park and the YMCA.
