Board of Supervisors met in Daleville on Tuesday

The Botetourt County Board of Supervisors held its monthly meeting at the Botetourt County Administrative Offices in Daleville on Tuesday, Aug. 24.

Recognitions were scheduled for a Botetourt County Fire & EMS award presentation, for Garland Humphries, and for Debbie Painter.

In the advertised content agenda, financial approvals, the highway department update, and a public hearing on a proposed FY 22 budget amendment were scheduled. Plus, Mark Johnson provided an update on the Daleville YMCA; Tim Snyder, chairman of the Parks and Rec Commission, provided an update; and an update on the status of the Botetourt /Craig Drug Treatment Court program was given by Botetourt County Commonwealth’s Attorney John Alexander.
