The James River golfers will have a practice around at the site of the Region 2C tournament on Thursday of this week as they prepare for their biggest event of the season. The Knights will practice at the Old Mill course in Carroll County.
River wrapped up the regular season on Monday with a head-to-head match against Glenvar at the Botetourt Golf & Swim Club. The Knights beat Glenvar 325 to 369 with Silas Miller and Ryan Steger tying for low score at 77. Joey Schroeder shot an 83 for the Knights and the fourth score was an 88 by Lacey Kessler.
“I am so excited to see what we can do at the regional match next week,” said River coach Donna Cox.
