Breckinridge Elementary recently installed a new, free library that is accessible to everyone in the community.
“We are very excited to connect the importance of reading and the importance of having books in our hands and homes with the community of Fincastle,” Breckinridge Principal Wyatt Turner said.
Kim Monaghan, her brother-in-law Scott Griffin, and the Monaghan Family helped put the library box together. Griffin, the owner of Blue Mountain Homes, built the custom library and Monaghan painted and decorated it to make it all come together. This free library is located next to the playground at Breckinridge. The community is invited to take a book or donate a book to the library.
