American Legion Post 240 will conduct its monthly meeting on Thursday, Dec. 2 at the VFW Hall at the corner of Rt. 220 and Country Club Road, Daleville. Social hour will be from 6-7 p.m. The business meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and usually lasts one hour.
The guest speaker will be a member of Homeland Security. Members will also discuss the final plans for the Christmas tree they are sponsoring at The Hotel Roanoke.
All members are invited and also any former military members who are not as yet members but were honorably discharged from the Armed Forces.
