Buchanan Community Christmas Market

Buchanan reminds you that every Saturday is Small Business Saturday in Buchanan, and this Saturday is the perfect day to rediscover small town America by exploring the shops and places to eat throughout town, then discover the vendors at the Buchanan Community Christmas Market.

Explore more than 20 vendor spaces set up along Buchanan’s downtown Main Street sidewalks this Saturday, Dec. 11 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Buchanan makes it easier to shop small and shop local with crafters offering a mix of handmade good including wreaths, jewelry, Christmas décor, antiques and more. Visit Buchanan this Saturday, Dec. 11 for a Parade Day filled with family-oriented activities.

 

Buchanan Festival of Lights Illumination

Make memories with your family at the Buchanan Festival of Lights on the Buchanan Town Park located at 485 Lowe Street. Enjoy lights throughout the town culminating with the town’s display of lights on the Town Park. Lights will go on at 5:30 p.m. and remain lighted until 8:30 p.m. Lights will be on each evening with drive-thru on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and walk-thru on Mondays through Thursdays. Admission to the Festival of Lights is free but donations are being accepted to help purchase new lights for additional displays. Santa will be at the gazebo on December 10 and 17.

Take family photos with Santa on the Town Park during Festival of Lights at the gazebo on December 10 and 17 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Bring your cameras and cell phones to take photos. Parking is available in the parking lot across from Solomon’s Mission.

 

Second Sunday Dinner

Save the date of Sunday, Dec. 12 for the Town Improvement Society’s monthly Second Sunday Curbside Pick Up Dinner. December’s menu includes Fresh Green Salad, Herb Crusted Pork, Stuffing, Creamed Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Dinner Roll and Dessert for $12. To place your order, call 540-580-8944.
