Eagle Rock citizens attended the 5th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at the Eagle Rock Library on Sunday, December 5th. This was the second year the festivities were outdoors and the night couldn’t have been better. The sky was clear and beautiful, the air was crisp and the holiday spirit was definitely present. As attendees eagerly awaited the countdown to the lighting, they caught up with each other in the cozy outdoor seating area as they listened to traditional holiday songs played by local musician, Travis Payne. Children and families played holiday games, got creative in the craft area, and enjoyed cocoa and cookies before visiting with Santa. Branch Manager, Jaime Duval, read Twas the Night Before Christmas before Santa led the countdown.
