American Legion Post 240 announces raffle winners

For the past three months, American Legion Post 240 has conducted a raffle donation event with the proceeds being used for the needs of Veterans in Botetourt County. Gift certificates from H&H Sporting Goods on Rt. 11 in Buchanan were awarded as follows: first prize, $1,000, won by Warren Bennett of Troutville; second prize, $500, was won by Billy Perry of Buchanan; and third prize of $300 was won by James Price of Daleville.
Post 240 thanks everyone for their generous donations, and a special thanks to Gwen Ikenberry, who picked the winners from a bucket and also allowed the use of the front porch of her store for this event.
