Shelley M. Martin has been promoted to Vice President, Business Relationship Officer by Bank of Botetourt. She will continue working from the Lexington office to provide and connect financial solutions for small businesses, with her primary focus being commercial lending and business development in the Rockbridge area.
A native of Rockbridge County, Shelley began her lending career immediately following graduation from Lexington High School in 1992. Joining Bank of Botetourt in 2002, she has served as teller, consumer banker, branch manager, mortgage assistant and most recently as Assistant Vice President in the commercial department. In addition to her years of experience, Shelley is a 2012 graduate of Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia.
She is well known in the community where she enjoys volunteering and is a member of Collierstown Presbyterian Church. Shelley and John, her husband of 20 years, reside in Collierstown and they have two daughters, Jamie and Morgan.
