Radford finished second as a team with a 328 and River was close behind at 333. Next came Glenvar at 365 and Carroll County had 388. Alleghany did not participate as a student on the team passed away in the days prior to the match.

The Knights were scheduled to play at the Botetourt Golf & Swim Club on Monday of this week but that was cancelled due to inclement weather. The Knights will add a match at the Botetourt course on September 22 with Glenvar, Alleghany and Greenbrier East joining James River.

Next Monday the district schools will play at the River Course, hosted by Radford.
