The Lord Botetourt cheerleaders are state runners-up after an outstanding performance in the state Class 3 cheer competition in Richmond last weekend. Brentsville District won the state championship at the Siegel Center at Virginia Commonwealth University. There were eight teams in the competition, the top two from each of the four Virginia High School League Class 3 regions.
