Vincent Trevor Worley, 68, of Buchanan, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 29, 2022, after a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Worley and Lorraine Campbell Worley; grandparents, William and Mary Campbell, Buford and Violet Worley; and his stepson, Kevin Nester.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Alice Faye McCullough Worley; brother, Dana (Jennifer) Worley; sisters, Allison Worley McCullough and Elizabeth Cook; step-son, Bobby Nester, Jr.; step-granddaughters Audrey and Autumn Nester; step-grandson, Holden Nester; sisters-in-law, Shelby (Stanley) Fringer and Carolyn Hamm; brothers-in-law, John (Donna) McCullough, Bobby (Nichole) McCullough, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vincent was a faithful member of Lithia Baptist Church, he loved his Lord and looked forward to church services. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and any UVA sport. He was a former member of the Buchanan Volunteer Fire Department. He loved being outdoors and sitting in a chair under a tree enjoying nature, taking walks, and took pride in keeping his yard maintained until his disease progressed that he could not.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 11 a.m. with his funeral service beginning at 12 p.m. in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, with the Rev.
