Andrew Lewis Middle School in Salem was the team winner at the annual Northside Invitational Wrestling Tournament last Saturday, a valley wide event for middle school teams. Botetourt County middle schools Read Mountain and Central Academy both had teams in the tournament.
Read Mountain had a tournament champion in Austin Woolwine at 144 pounds. Second places went to Kevin Gergely at 136 and Lucas Hipes at 190 and Blake Markham was fourth at 160 for the Stars.
Efraim Echavarria was the loan placer for CAMS, taking a fourth.
