Albert Louis “A.L.” Bryant Jr., 76, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
He was born in Virginia on July 7, 1946, to the late Albert L. Bryant Sr. and the late Edna Bryant.
A.L. is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Jean Vise Bryant, and his sister, Adelia Long of Merritt Island, Fla.
A.L. graduated from Old Dominion University and received his master’s degree from George Washington University. He worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for a number of years and was one of the original owners of Bryansteens Gun and Archery.
The family received friends from 2 until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Oakey’s East Chapel. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, at Eagle Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
