Drive-In Worship Service at Limestone Park April 30
A Community Drive-In Worship Service will be held at Limestone Park on Sunday, April 30 at 10 a.m. hosted by Mill Creek Baptist and Buchanan Baptist Churches. The public is invited to attend and can bring chairs to sit outside or sit in their cars.
Pastor’s church anniversary celebration April 23
Lapsleys Run Baptist Church will celebrate the fourth anniversary of the Rev. David W. Halsey Sr. as pastor on Sunday, April 23, beginning at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Timothy Preston.
Lunch will be served after morning service. There will not be an afternoon service.
Everyone is invited to this and all services at Lapsleys Run Baptist Church, 608 Zion Hill Road, Fincastle. Regular services are held on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.
Mt. Olivet Spring Bazaar April 29
The Spring Bazaar at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church, 26310 Lee Highway, Buchanan, is set for Saturday, April 29, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., serving breakfast and lunch, with a bake sale, yard sale, and items made by the Mount Olivet Quilters.

Revival at Daleville Baptist
Revival services will be held at Daleville Baptist Church April 16-19 with Kenny Grant from Savannah, Ga. – Sunday, April 16, 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.; and April 17-19 at 7 p.m.
Austin & Friends will present ‘Psalm 23’ concerts
David Austin & Friends has presented a series of concerts featuring songs inspired by and based on Psalm 23. The performances, including one in Botetourt County, have all new and original compositions in a variety of musical styles.
The remaining concert venue and date are: Troutville Baptist on April 23 at 4 p.m. (5520 Lee Highway, Troutville).

Cloverdale Brethren Thrift Store has summer clothes
The Cloverdale Church of the Brethren Thrift Store now has spring and summer clothes for the family. The shop has a large selection of tops, skirts, dresses and pants. Men’s shirts and pants and children’s clothes are also available. Hours are Saturdays, 9 to 12. Donations are always welcome.
The Food Pantry is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Shiloh Cemetery needs donations
Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery on Shiloh Road, Eagle Rock, is asking for those who have loved ones buried in the cemetery or own plots to give monetary donations to help with the upkeep of the cemetery. Fincastle UMC Chicken BBQ April 22
Fincastle United Methodist Church is having a chicken dinner from 4-7 p.m. on April 22, dine in or take out, at the VFW Hall on Route 220, Daleville.
The cost is $12 per person for half a barbecued chicken (featuring Percy Bolton’s sauce recipe), potato salad, baked apples, roll and choice of coffee, tea or lemonade. Desserts will be sold separately.

The Joyful Journey Travel Club of St. Mark’s UMC invites you to join them on their trip to Pittsburgh June 20-23; 3 days, 2 nights, $515 per person double occupancy ($664 per person single occupancy). Potluck meal May 1 at Galatia
Galatia Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 78 Gala Loop Road, Eagle Rock, will have a Potluck Community Meal on Monday, May 1, at 12 noon. The church will furnish hot dogs and fixings, tea (sweet and unsweetened), lemonade, water and coffee. Bring a dish to share with everyone and join in for good fellowship and food.
