The VFW Post 1841 in Daleville recently had breakfast catered to the veterans residing in the Carrington Place in Daleville. The post also had three members to eat and talk with the 10 veterans who were available. Both the veterans and staff involved really enjoyed this contribution to their lives in this facility, said Post Commander Jerry Jacobsen. The post plans to do this every year as a small token of thanks for these veterans’ military service to their country during wars and conflicts around the world.
