Attic Productions is opening its summer musical production, Lionel Bart’s “Oliver!” on Thursday, August 17. This Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical adaptation of the classic Dickens novel springs to life with memorable characters and songs.
The story of a child who dares to trust in others, search for love, and ask for more in London’s seedy underworld, Bart’s coming-of-age classic is brought to life with a large cast of local talent, directed by Katerina Yancey, assisted by Heather O’Bryan, choreographer Will Smith, and musical director Rachel Bremner.
This show will be presented at Attic Productions’ D. Geraldine Lawson Performing Arts Center, 7490 Roanoke Road, Fincastle, August 17-September 3; Thursday and Friday shows begin at 7:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday matinees begin at 2:30.
