Beaver Dam Farm holding Christmas event Dec. 2

Gracely Hill, home of the annual Sunflower Festival, in Buchanan hosts Country Christmas from 1-5 p.m. on Dec. 2. Photo opportunities with Santa will be available for attendees.

The second annual Country Christmas takes place again Saturday, Dec. 2, at Gracely Hill, home of the Beaver Dam Farm Sunflower Festival, in Buchanan from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Visitors can enjoy shopping with past Sunflower Festival vendors and all of their Christmas goodies. There will be food and coffee available along with photos with Santa (don’t forget to bring a camera). Hartlight Photography will also be onsite offering family photo Christmas sessions. Admission is $5 cash at the door.

“I’m so excited to have everyone back out to kick off this Christmas season,” event coordinator Candace Monaghan said in a release. “Our Country Christmas event is a great time to come out and enjoy holiday shopping with some amazingly talented handmade vendors.”

“A Country Christmas at Gracely Hill in Buchanan is a magical experience,” Shop Botetourt and Cupcakes and Canines owner Brandy Underwood said in a recent email. “The venue is transformed into a festive wonderland full of vendors, delicious food and the enchantment of Santa himself! It’s a can’t-miss event this holiday season where you can support small businesses and experience the ultimate Christmas experience.”

Vendors include: 704 North Design Co, Cupcakes & Canines, Cutes by Ann, Dye-ing Chaos Designs, Electric Lumber Design, Especially For Ewe, Everything Chenille, First XI Coffee, Hartlight Photography, Hunt & Chase, Just Bee Apiary, Keitha’s Artful Garden, Lick Run Creations, Love.Dee Creations, Magnolia South Sign Co., Magpiper Jewelry, North Mountain Candle Co., Owl on a Limb Creations, Petal and Pail Flower Farm, Priss E. Nerd, Reprised Possessions, Rylor & Co. Designs, Seven Waters Creations, Sew Down Crafty, and Unique Gifts and More.
