Having punch and punch cups like these were important when entertaining family and friends in the past. They are also popular today. Peggy Bolton Wise donated 12 of these cut glass punch cups to the Botetourt Museum of History and Culture. They belonged to Pearl Bowyer Stevens, who was the longtime secretary of Fincastle Baptist Church when it was on Main Street in Fincastle. Her son, Garland Stevens, was the curator of the Botetourt County Museum for many years when it was located behind the Botetourt Courthouse.
