Buchanan Food Pantry open this Saturday
The Buchanan Presbyterian Church Food Pantry will be open on Saturday, December 23 from 9-11 a.m. Volunteers from the Presbyterian Church will distribute food curbside. There will be meat, bread, eggs, milk and various staples. Anyone in need is welcome. The church is located at 19559 Main Street, Buchanan.
Special services at St. Mark’s UMC
The St. Mark’s United Methodist Church Chancel Choir will present a Christmas musical, “Were You There on That Christmas Night?” by Lloyd Larson on Sunday, Dec. 24, at the 10 a.m. worship service. The public is most welcome to attend! The church is located at 19 Cedar Ridge Drive, Daleville, across Roanoke Road from Daleville Kroger. A nursery will be provided.

• Combined worship services at 10 a.m. for month of December
• Blue Christmas Service, Dec. 21, 7 p.m., for those who are having a hard time this Christmas due to various life circumstances
• Christmas Eve services, 10 a.m., 5 p.m., 11p.m.
• Drive-Through Christmas Lights, Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve, 5:30-9 p.m.
Springwood Baptist Church events
The schedule for Christmas Eve is:
No Sunday School; 9:30 a.m. – Coffee and donuts in fellowship hall; 10 a.m.– Worship for all; 5:30 p.m. –Candlelight Service

Cloverdale Thrift Store open Saturdays
Cloverdale Church of the Brethren Thrift Store has fall and winter clothes for the entire family, and lots of Christmas decorations and gifts. Sweaters are only $1.50. The store is in need of women’s tops and children’s clothes. The store is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
Special services at Pleasant Hill Baptist
Pleasant Hill Baptist will be holding a Christmas caroling event on Wednesday, December 20 as groups head out to local nursing homes to share some Christmas joy! Please meet at PHBC at 5:15 p.m.
Friday, December 22, the PreK and Elementary Children’s Christmas Party will be held from 1-3 p.m. at PHBC. All are welcome to this fun event.
PHBC will be holding a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service on December 24 at 5 p.m. All are invited to these and any services at Pleasant Hill.
Christmas hymn sing at Troutville Brethren
Pastor Terry Johnson invites everyone to Troutville Church of the Brethren on Christmas Eve at 11 a.m. for a hymn sing of only Christmas songs. Then at 5:30 p.m. the church will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service. The church is located at 5133 Lee Highway in Troutville.
