Capps Home Building Center held its official grand opening celebration in Troutville last Friday. Event attendees had the opportunity to tour the new facility and speak with members of the Capps staff to learn more about what the building center offers customers. The facility is located at 3396 Lee Highway on the corner of Route 11 and Humbert Road at the old location of Cash Building Supply, which was vacant for several years before Capps purchased the property.

Members of the Botetourt Chamber of Commerce and the Roanoke Regional Chamber welcomed guests to the facility, including the new Botetourt Chamber Community Engagement Coordinator Channing Preston, who spoke briefly during the ceremony thanking all of the attendees for joining the chambers and the Capps family in welcoming the new business to the county.

Fincastle District Supervisor Brandon Nicely also spoke during the event sharing, “I was really excited when I heard Capps was coming (to Botetourt). I knew that this corner was going to come back to life again. We needed that and they’ve done a great job… I know (Capps) got a lot of support. I can see that already.”

The Capps Home Building Center in Troutville focuses on the professional building contractor by offering premium products and a showroom for windows, doors, composite decking, siding, and interior molding, to name a few. The store features full delivery capabilities, estimating services, and 24/7 on-line account access.
