Summer Reading Challenge
May 13 – June 30
Calling kids age 0-12 to “Dive into Reading” with our ocean-themed challenge! Earn brag tags and prizes by reading books of your choice, and participate in fun activities and events all summer long.
Dive Into Reading Kickoff
Fri, May 17, 6-8pm, Buchanan Elementary School
Enjoy a wet/dry slide, bubbles, face painting, obstacle courses, battleship water pong, crafts, and other games and activities. Bring a towel; you might get wet! Concessions available, with community partners and vendors onsite. Stay after sunset to watch the movie “Moana” with Botetourt County Parks & Recreation.
Make Your Own Keychain
