Sirens and Salutes along with Quilts of Valor will present 14 veterans with special handmade quilts to honor their military service on Saturday, July 20, at 11 a.m. at the Botetourt Event Center in Buchanan.
Last year, Quilts of Valor presented quilts to 13 local veterans. A Quilt of Valor is a civilian lifetime award in recognition of a veteran’s service and sacrifice to the country.
