Buchanan Food Pantry open July 27
St. Mark’s UMC, Daleville, will be hosting the Buchanan Food Pantry on Saturday, July 27, at Buchanan Presbyterian Church. Anyone needing food can stop by between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to pick up meat, milk, bread and staples. The church is located at 19559 Main Street, Buchanan.
Fincastle Clothes Closet open Saturday
Fincastle United Methodist’s Clothes Closet will be open on Saturday, July 27, in the Family Life Center at 137 S. Church Street, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Donations of gently worn, clean clothing and shoes may be dropped off at that time, too.
Back-to-School Fun Time at Troutville Park
Area children are invited to Back-to-School Fun Time at Troutville Park on Saturday, July 27, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. There will be games, prizes, refreshments and a free bag of school supplies. The event is sponsored by Troutville Baptist Church.
Free Community Dinner Tuesday in Fincastle
Everyone is welcome to the free Terrific Tuesdays Church and Community Dinner at Fincastle United Methodist Church’s Family Life Center, 137 S. Church Street, on Tuesday, July 30. Dinner will be served from 5:30-7 p.m.

Eagle Rock Clothes Closet dates
The Eagle Rock Community Clothes Closet located at Eagle Rock United Methodist Church, 14565 Church Street, will be open Saturdays, August 3 and August 10, from 9 a.m. to noon, and Wednesday, August 7, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Ladies’, men’s and children’s clothing, as well as toys, are offered at no charge.
