Bonsack UMC celebrating 150th Anniversary
In September, Bonsack United Methodist Church will celebrate its 150th anniversary. All are welcome to the special services, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
- September 8: Guest preacher, the Rev. Tim Craft; dedication of new playground (bring a lawn chair if you are able); light lunch provided
- September 15: Guest preacher, the Rev. Tim Tate, brunch provided
- September 22: Guest preacher, the Rev. Doug Forrester, Valley Ridge District Superintendent; special music; lunch provided by Pastor Rob
- September 29:Tthe Rev. Rob Lough will preach at the final 150th Anniversary celebration service, appetizers served after worship

Help St. Mark’s pack meals for Rise Against Hunger
St. Mark’s United Methodist will be hosting a meal packing for Rise Against Hunger on Saturday, September 7 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Since St. Mark’s started working with Rise Against Hunger as of this packing on September 7, members will have packed 300,000 meals that have gone to hungry people in many countries. The church needs 100 volunteers to make this happen on September 7 and invites the community to join for this meal packing. There are jobs for all ages.
