The Botetourt County Historical Society (BCHS) will hold another history lecture in their recent series this Wednesday, September 18, at 6 p.m. taking place at the historic Wilson Warehouse in Buchanan.
Records dating back to 1812 were recently discovered in the warehouse’s attic containing information about the John S. Wilson Company. Stephen Davis of the Buchanan Town Improvement Society will give a presentation about these documents and tie them in with the history of the canal and warehouse.
The Wilson Warehouse is located at 421 Lowe Street in Buchanan.
