Laura Patricia Jones, 75, of Fincastle, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “Pete” Jones; mother, Evelyn Fisher; father, Gilbert Niday; infant daughter, Patricia Diane Jones; and brother, Steve Niday.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Casina and Tracy Terry, Lisa and David Brogan; grandchildren, Sheena and Tim Groth, Eric Terry, Ashley Brogan and Marcus; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Isaac, Evelyn, Dalton, and Brady; step-father, Bill Fisher; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Linda Broughman.
Visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 30, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor TG Ayers officiating. Interment was in Godwin Cemetery, Fincastle. Online condolences may be made at www.botetourtfuneralhome.com or 540-254-3000.
