New Freedom Farm, Inc. is holding a fundraiser yard sale on November 1 and 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the farm, 6118 Lithia Road, Buchanan. This special two-day event will offer a selection of donated items, from horse tack, saddles too, household goods to furniture and more. Every purchase will directly support New Freedom Farm’s mission to provide a healing space for veterans, first responders, and their families.
Donations are still being accepted to make this event a success. If you have items to donate, bring them to New Freedom Farm by 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 31. Set-up for the sale will begin at daybreak on Friday, and every contribution counts. From gently used toys and clothing to tools and furniture, each item will help raise essential funds for the farm’s programs.
Proceeds from the yard sale will go towards expanding services, including therapeutic programs with horses and other support initiatives for those who have served.
If you would like to set up a table to sell your own goods, New Freedom Farm is asking for a $5 donation per space; you can set up at daybreak on Friday or Saturday or both days. To learn more about the yard sale or donation process, call 540-855-1158.
