Mott receives Outstanding Student Award
Kristen Mott of Roanoke was among graduate students recognized for outstanding master’s and doctoral degrees at The University of Scranton’s in-person graduate commencement ceremony on May 22.
At the ceremony at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, Wilkes-Barre, the University conferred post-baccalaureate degrees to more than 500 graduates who had completed their academic degree requirements in August and December of 2020, as well as January and May of 2021.
Mott received the Outstanding Student Award for Finance.
Neidigh earns Bachelor’s Degree from Hollins
Abigail Christine Neidigh received the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science during Hollins University’s 179th commencement ceremony on May 19. Neidigh was named to the Dean’s List for the 2021 Spring Semester. To attain this distinction, students must earn at least a 3.5 average on a 4.0 grading scale.
Neidigh is a graduate of William Byrd High School and is the daughter of Kraig and Crystal Neidigh of Fincastle.
