American Legion Post 240 has announced that two students from Lord Botetourt High School will be attending the American Legion Boys Town seminar at Marymount University in Arlington July 21-29. They are Ethan Stickler and William “Tyler” Davis.
All teachers at Lord Botetourt were asked to submit the names of students they felt met the criteria to be chosen for Boys Town. The nominations were then submitted to a committee that consisted of the Guidance Department and the school administration. The entire process took approximately three weeks to choose these two students.
American Legion Post 240 also announced that it has paid the entry fee of $800 for these two students to attend the event.
