American Legion Post 240, Daleville, will conduct its monthly meeting on Thursday, June 1, at the VFW Hall at the corner of Country Club Road and Rt. 220. Social hour and dinner will be from 6-7 p.m. The business meeting will start promptly at 7 p.m.
This important meeting will involve the installation of the new board of directors. The swearing-in phase of the process will be conducted by the District 9 commander and the District 9 adjutant. The new directors will then take their respective places at the head table and the monthly meeting will continue.
All current members and honorably discharged veterans of all military branches are invited to this meeting.
