American Legion Post 240 will conduct its monthly meeting on Thursday, June 2 at the VFW Hall at the corner of Rt. 220 and Country Club Road, Daleville. Social hour is from 6-7 p.m. when a light supper will be offered.
The business meeting will begin promptly at 7 p.m. and will probably last a little over one hour. During this meeting, the newly elected executive officers of the post will be sworn in by the District 9 Commanding Officer.
All dues paying members are invited along with any other veterans who live in the greater Botetourt area.
