American Legion Post 240 will conduct its March meeting on Thursday, March 2 at the VFW Hall at the corner of Country Club Road and Rt. 220, Daleville. Social hour, along with a light supper, will be from 6-7 p.m. The business meeting will begin promptly at 7 p.m.
All dues paying members are strongly advised to attend this important meeting. It is the start of the election season and nominations will be taken for the following: Post Commander, 1st Vice Commander, Second Vice Commander, Adjutant and Finance Officer. The ballot will then be finalized at the April meeting. Final voting will be conducted during the May meeting and installation of the new officers by the District Commander will occur during the June meeting.
