Molly O’Dell, one of the poetry readers at the first ever artistic collaboration between Botetourt County Libraries, Artemis Journal, and Open Studios-Botetourt, wowed the 25 visitors who came to look at art and listen to poetry. O’Dell read works based on her former life in medicine. Other participants in September 24 event at Blue Ridge Library included artists Linda Atkinson, Amy Herzel, and Dreama Kattenbraker, all of whom are with Open Studios, and poets Curt Alderson, Maurice Ferguson, Anita Firebaugh, Tim Miller, and Pauline Hollar Pauley.
