Botetourt County Libraries and the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) are partnering to support access to COVID19 testing resources. This program is called VDH-STACC (Supporting Testing Access through Community Collaboration). VDH-STACC is a new program launched by VDH this month.
Through this program, VDH distributes COVID-19 at-home test kits to participating libraries. Community members can pick up free test kits from participating libraries (library cards aren’t required) and take the kits home to self-test for COVID-19.
The partnership will help give broader access to at-home rapid antigen tests to Virginians at a time where there is increased demand for testing due to the spread of COVID19. Stop by any Botetourt County Library Branch for a free test while supplies last.
