On Saturday, October 2, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., the Friends of the Buchanan Library will be holding a one-day $2 bag sale at the Carson Memorial Rescue Squad Building. Books and yard sale items will be sold for $2 per bag. There is a great selection of hardbacks and paperbacks, fiction and non-fiction to choose from. Yard sale items include household items, antique glassware, holiday decorations, and so much more. A selection of furniture is being sold for half off the previously marked price, and a small selection of specially priced items that have been reduced for this one-day sale. The Carson Memorial building is located at 19673 Main Street, across from the Buchanan Fire Station. All proceeds from the sale will go towards programs and projects for the Buchanan Library.
