The girls Class 2 All-State volleyball team has been announced and James River has two girls on the team. Linsey Bailey is a first team selection and Bailey Marshall made the second team.

Bailey received the third highest number of votes in the state in Class A, making the nine-girl first team. Linsey is a senior.

Marshall made the second team, and she’s just a junior. Only five underclassmen in the state made the first or second team, which included 18 girls.

Hannah Johnson of Wilson Memorial was named Class 2 Player of the Year and Lauren Grove of Wilson Memorial is the Coach of the Year.
