Bank of Botetourt has announced the following promotions:
- Paula A. Rhodes: VP – Deposit Services, Buchanan Care Center Office
- Amanda L. Robinson: VP – Financial Advisor, Daleville Office
- Mary Ann L. Miller: VP – Business Relationship & Communications Officer, Daleville Office
Paula A. Rhodes has been promoted to Vice President of Deposit Services. Rhodes is a 2015 graduate from the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She joined the Bank in 1998 and has served in various capacities throughout her tenure. Paula will continue to oversee Deposit Operations, Electronic Banking, and Card Services from the bank’s Buchanan Care Center Office. Rhodes previously lived in Bedford and has been a resident of Botetourt for over 25 years. She currently resides in Buchanan with her husband, Brian, and their two children, Madison and Mason.
Amanda L. Robinson has been promoted to Vice President. She has 27 years experience in the industry and has extensive knowledge derived from her time as a financial advisor and licensed financial specialist. Her areas of expertise include mortgage origination, consumer loans, deposit accounts and retail investments. She has previously worked with Wachovia Bank, Wachovia Securities, and First Union National Bank. Robinson will continue to work from the bank’s office at Daleville Town Center where she currently advises clients on how best to grow their financial assets and plan for retirement using an array of financial resource planning tools and products. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education with a Marketing and Development Concentration including a Training and Development Option from Virginia Tech. She is a member of the Clearbrook Civic League and also the Cave Spring High School Band Boosters Club. She currently resides in Roanoke County with her husband, Rob, and their two children, Nigel and Roxanne.
Mary Ann L. Miller has been promoted to Vice President. She will continue serving as the bank’s Business Relationship and Communications Officer out of the bank’s Daleville Town Center location. A graduate of Bridgewater College, Mary Ann has been in the banking industry for more than 14 years. She is currently serving on the Board and Executive Committee of the Botetourt County Chamber of Commerce, the Board of the Daleville Institute Inc. (Daleville Town Center’s non-profit organization). She is also a Citizen Representative on the Botetourt Greenway Commission, and a member of the Botetourt Family YMCA Steering Committee. A native of Botetourt County, Mary Ann resides in Daleville with her husband, Matthew.
