Created in 2024, this initiative is designed to support bank employees who are parents of graduating high school seniors. For the Class of 2025, the bank awarded a total of $2,500 in grants.

This year’s recipients include high school seniors representing James River High School (Emma Lowe), Lord Botetourt High School (Genelayce Stevens) and others from  Northside High School, Acellus Academy, and Rockbridge County High School.

Lyn Hayth, CEO and vice-chair of the board of directors, shared, “I am deeply honored to be associated with this high school graduation grant that carries my name. Education has always been a cornerstone of my life and career, as it is a steppingstone toward financial success and long-term stability.
