Delegate Terry Austin commended Bank of Botetourt with House Resolution 465. Delegate Austin presented it to President and CEO G. Lyn Hayth III and Chairman H. Watts Steger III during the bank’s annual shareholders’ meeting on Wednesday, May 17.
HR465 recognizes Bank of Botetourt for over 118 years of “top notch customer and community service in an effort to improve the quality of life for the residents of its service area.”
Today, with “more than 10 locations stretching from Moneta to Lexington” and over 100 employees, the House of Delegates resolution commends Bank of Botetourt for its “distinguished history of outstanding, efficient, and courteous service to the citizens with best wishes for the future.”
Chartered in 1899 Bank of Botetourt operates twelve retail offices in Botetourt, Rockbridge, Roanoke, and Franklin counties and in the City of Salem, all in Virginia; and the mortgage company Virginia Mountain Mortgage.
