Bank of Botetourt is pleased to recognize Fonda M. Coffey, who earned her designation as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). She has more than 35 years of financial experience, accumulating a wealth of industry knowledge throughout her career.
As a Financial Consultant, Coffey meets with her clients to work towards their financial goals in numerous areas of banking, including routine deposits, and loans. She also strategizes with clients regarding insurance, retirement goals, and estate planning. She is based out of the bank’s Lexington Office, and she will continue to have a presence at the bank’s various locations.
President and CEO G. Lyn Hayth III expressed his congratulations to Coffey for receiving this certification. “The skill set she has acquired, combined with her experience, will help her to better serve our customers and community. We are grateful to have her as part of our team,” he said.
A lifelong resident of Buena Vista, Coffey is deeply rooted in the community. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Averett University and CFP certification through the College for Financial Planning. She is a member of the Buena Vista Junior Women’s Club and serves on the board of the Paxton House Historical Society. She enjoys attending classic car shows, reading and spending time with her children, Chad and Chase, and her three grandchildren. She and her husband Edward reside in Buena Vista.
