Tracy D. Barker and Michael D. Norton were united in marriage on July 11, 2020, in Fincastle at the home of Mike and Donna Hurd, uncle and aunt of the groom. The outdoor ceremony was officiated by Mike Hurd.
The bride is the daughter of Greg and Ellen Taylor of Fincastle and is employed by Delta Dental of Virginia.
The groom is the son of Dennis and Robbie Norton of Troutville and is employed by State Electric Supply Company.
Attending as maid of honor was Trinity Bess, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tabetha Bess, niece of the bride, and Samantha Hammond, best friend of the bride.
Attending as best man was Dennis Norton. Groomsmen were Marty Hensley, uncle of the groom, and Adam Taylor, best friend of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception and dinner for family and friends was held at the Holiday Inn.
A honeymoon trip is planned for a later date in Destin, Fla. The couple resides in Fincastle.
