A graduate of Botetourt County Public Schools, he has an extensive record of professional experience, publications, and service.

Botetourt County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Janet Womack said, “Dr. Nicely brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, along with a thoughtful and collaborative approach to supporting our employees.”

As director of Human Resources, Nicely will oversee recruitment, hiring, employee support, licensure, and personnel services. His leadership will help ensure the division continues to attract, develop, and retain outstanding staff in support of student success.

Dr. Womack added, “His experience and dedication will further strengthen our commitment to supporting every employee and fostering a positive working environment across the division.”
