John Alemarine Blankenship, 80, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020.
He was born in Amigo, Rowan County, W.Va., on October 25, 1939. He was a machinist by trade, retiring from Menasha Corporation.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Lewis and Helen Virginia Rycroft Blankenship; sisters, Charlotte Elkins and Shirley Firebaugh; and sons, John Jr. and Wade Blankenship.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Charles Scullion of Haledon, N.J.; son, Scott Blankenship of Kingman, Ariz.; sister and brother-in-law, Bessie and Kenneth White of Columbia, S.C.; girlfriend, Julie Mulvihill of New Jersey; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
