Last week, at the monthly Board of Supervisors meeting in Daleville, the board approved to relocate the polling locations in two precincts in Blue Ridge Magisterial District.
In the Blue Ridge Precinct, voters in the Blue Ridge Magisterial District will now vote at Colonial Baptist Church. The precinct formerly voted at the old Colonial Elementary School on Webster Road.
In the Rainbow Forest Precinct, the polling location changes from Rainbow Forest Baptist Church’s Youth Center to the new Colonial Elementary School on Murray Drive.
The proposal to move these polling locations will now be submitted to the Department of Elections in Richmond for approval. The relocations could take effect as early as May, with the first voting in June for the primaries.
