Friends of the Blue Ridge Library will be holding a book sale October 20-22. The sale begins on Thursday, October 20, from 5-8 p.m. and continues on Friday, October 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be a large variety of books for sale. On Thursday and Friday, hardcover books will be priced at $1 each and paperback books will be priced at 50 cents each. On Saturday, books will be available for $3 a bag.
Proceeds from the book sale help the Friends to support library programs such as the annual Summer Learning Challenge or to purchase materials that the library needs, especially those not covered in the annual operating budget.
