Friends of the Blue Ridge Library will hold a book sale April 25-27. The sale begins on Thursday, April 25, from 5-8 p.m. The sale continues Friday, April 26, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m.-1:45 p.m. There will be a large variety of books for sale. Hardcover books are priced at $1 each and paperback books are priced at 50 cents each. Saturday is Bag Day when you may purchase a bag of books for only $3.
Proceeds from the book sale help the Friends to support library programs such as the annual Summer Learning Challenge or to purchase materials that the library needs, especially those not covered in the annual operating budget. Blue Ridge Library is located at 28 Avery Row on US 460 about a half-mile east of the Bonsack Walmart. For directions, call 540-928-2900.
