Rain or shine, the Friends of the Buchanan Library will be holding their Used Book “Bag Sale” on Oct. 2, 3, and 4 at the Carson Memorial Rescue Squad Building in Buchanan. Bags of books and media will sell for $3 each. Yard sale items will sell for 25 cents each. All proceeds help support the Buchanan Library.
Hours are Thursday, 3-7 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Saturday is the 30th Annual Mountain Magic in the Fall Festival in Buchanan. Stop by the Carson Building to support the Friends of the Library and then enjoy the Fall Festival in downtown Buchanan. The Carson Memorial Rescue Squad Building is located at 19763 Main Street, across from the Fire and Rescue Station.
